Job summary

Headlight seeks a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to diagnose and treat mental health conditions, providing individual and group therapy in a hybrid setting with 3–4 in-office days weekly. You will prescribe medications, maintain comprehensive records, and collaborate closely with clinicians to ensure continuity of care.

Qualifications include a PMHNP master’s, ANCC/AANP certification, and active state licensure plus DEA. Bilingual skills are a plus in serving diverse patients.

Qualifications

• 12 months of post-licensure experience in a psychiatric clinical setting.
• Master's in Nursing with PMH specialty required.
• Board Certification via ANCC or AANP.
• Active state PMHNP licensure and DEA registration.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat mental health and emotional disorders.
• Work a hybrid model—3 or 4 days in office per week, depending on location.
• Offer individual and group therapy to patients.
• Prescribe and monitor medications when necessary.
• Maintain detailed records of patient visits and progress.
• Assist in developing individualized treatment plans and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
• Educate patients and families about mental health and disorders; participate in community outreach.
