Job summary

Mood Health is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to deliver in-person and telehealth psychiatric care in Washington. This W2 role offers flexible scheduling, malpractice coverage, and a collaborative, quality-focused practice.

You will evaluate adolescents 11+ and adults, develop treatment plans, prescribe medications, and maintain thorough documentation in line with state standards while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Active Washington PMHNP license and WA furnishing number.
• Active or pending Washington DEA license.
• 2+ years of experience treating adolescents (ages 11–17) and adults.
• Experience diagnosing and treating ADHD, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and schizoaffective disorder.
• Comfort with hybrid care delivery: in-person and virtual.
• Proficiency with EHR and telehealth platforms.
• Spanish fluency is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person and telehealth psychiatric care to adolescents (11+) and adults
• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Prescribe and manage medications, with careful attention to safety, efficacy, and patient education
• Maintain timely and complete clinical documentation in accordance with state and practice standards
• Participate in case consultations and peer collaboration
• Build strong therapeutic rapport with patients from diverse backgrounds
