Mood Health in Salinas, CA is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to provide adolescent and adult psychiatric care in person and via telehealth. Qualifications

• California PMHNP license and furnishing number required.
• Active or pending California DEA license.
• 2+ years experience treating adolescents (11-17) and adults.
• Experience diagnosing/treating ADHD, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder.
• Comfort with hybrid care delivery: in-person and virtual.
• Proficiency with EHR and telehealth platforms.
• Spanish fluency is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person and telehealth psychiatric care to adolescents (11+) and adults
• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Prescribe and manage medications, with attention to safety, efficacy, and patient education
• Maintain timely and complete clinical documentation per state and practice standards
• Participate in case consultations and peer collaboration
• Build strong therapeutic rapport with patients from diverse backgrounds
