Job summary

FairPlay Sports Media in London is seeking a hands-on Platform Engineer (DevOps / Infrastructure) to own GCP-based infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and Kubernetes workloads, delivering reliable, secure, high-throughput services for a data-driven sports media network.

You'll work in a hybrid role with monthly office travel to London Waterloo, participate in an on-call rota, implement IaC with Terraform, and contribute to observability, security, and incident response alongside Senior engineers.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in Platform/DevOps or Cloud Engineering in modern cloud environments.
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform, containers, and Kubernetes.
• Proficient in Terraform and GitLab CI for CI/CD and IaC.

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver components in GCP across CI/CD, IaC, observability, and Kubernetes workloads.
• Participate in on-call rotation and handle incidents following the agreed process.
• Support product squads with environments, pipelines, and tooling to move quickly and safely.
