Job summary

Jobtailor in Maryland seeks a DevSecOps/Platform Engineer to deploy and manage containerized apps across Kubernetes, Java Spring back-ends and Vue front-ends, and to build repeatable deployment pipelines.

Candidates must hold an active TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Poly, plus hands-on Kubernetes, Java Spring, Vue.js, Docker, Linux, Git, and GitLab CI/CD experience; hybrid onsite in Annapolis Junction with some remote days.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret/SCI Clearance with a Full Scope Polygraph.
• Hands-on experience deploying and managing containerized applications with Kubernetes.
• Experience developing or modifying applications built with Java / Spring (Spring Boot) and Vue.js frontend.
• Linux administration experience and Git knowledge.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployments of distributed web applications (GitLab CI/CD).

Responsibilities

• Deploy and configure applications across multiple network environments via Kubernetes.
• Design, establish, and document repeatable deployment processes and pipelines.
• Modify and troubleshoot Java Spring back-end and Vue.js front-end components.
• Diagnose and resolve issues across infrastructure, middleware, and application layers.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams, software developers, and system engineers.
• Lead deployment and sustainment of mission-critical production systems across multiple network environments.
• Stand up, configure, and support production environments across the full deployment lifecycle.
