Job summary

FS Poly in Annapolis Junction, MD, seeks a Sr. Platform Engineer focused on Kubernetes and compliance to sustain critical mission software in secure environments. The role combines advanced platform engineering with governance and security responsibilities in a hybrid work setting.

You will lead Kubernetes management, ensure robust deployment, and coordinate with stakeholders to meet evolving security needs. TS/SCI with FS Poly clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 14 years of systems engineering experience, or 19 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
• Strong Kubernetes networking, deployment, and configuration expertise.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Salt, Ansible), Rancher, Helm, and observability tools such as Elasticsearch, Kibana, or Grafana.

Responsibilities

• Sustain critical mission software and systems with a focus on compliance and Kubernetes management.
• Document technical processes and collaborate with stakeholders to meet evolving security needs in secure environments.
