Job summary

TC Energy Corp. in Houston, TX is seeking a Pipeline Integrity Engineer/Technologist to analyze Inline Inspection data for corrosion threats and support integrity program planning for gas transmission pipelines.

The role involves risk analysis, corrosion growth modeling, engineering assessments, excavation support, and audits, with collaboration across internal teams and regulators to ensure safe and reliable energy delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related technical discipline from an accredited institution.
• 4+ years of related experience in pipeline integrity with gas transmission pipeline systems.
• Must be registered, or eligible for registration in the future, as a professional member with APEGA (Calgary candidates only).

Responsibilities

• Review, analyze, and conduct pipeline anomaly analysis utilizing direct assessment, in-line inspection, pressure test, and other assessment data to propose remedial or follow up actions.
• Perform advanced quantitative risk analysis (likelihood of failure, consequence modeling, corrosion growth, etc.).
• Perform Engineering Assessments to determine the continued safe operation of the pipeline.
• Develop and support excavation programs.
• Provide technical support to internal stakeholders as required.
• Support or lead audit program related to corrosion threats, including interacting with regulatory agencies.
• Assist internal response to pipeline failures and root cause investigations.
• Support project development, planning, and budget programs.
• Assist the team in tracking and completion of work related to the expedited ECA program.
• Other tasks as required.
