Job summary

TC Energy seeks a Geohazard Engineer to support pipeline integrity programs across the U.S. and Canada, planning and executing assessments, managing geotechnical threats, reviewing mitigation plans, and collaborating with third-party contractors.

The role involves fieldwork across North America, ensuring compliance with CFR standards and industry best practices, and providing technical support to multiple teams. Location may include PA, OH, WV with travel.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in Civil, Mechanical, Petroleum Engineering, or a related Engineering/Geosciences discipline.
• 1-5 years of experience in geohazard assessment or pipeline integrity.
• Knowledge of 49 CFR Part 192, 49 CFR Part 195, and related industry standards.
• Knowledge of slope stability and groundwater management.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills to work effectively with extended project teams.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and develop the Geohazard Threat Management Program to address geotechnical and hydrotechnical pipeline threats.
• Perform field work across North America to evaluate and document geotechnical and hydrotechnical pipeline threats.
• Report, document, and demonstrate compliance with internal geohazard processes and regulatory requirements.
• Assist with developing internal standards and specifications to ensure compliance with regulations, codes, and industry best practices.
• Represent TC Energy's Pipeline Integrity group in technical discussions with internal and external stakeholders.
• Work with project managers and operations personnel to implement remediation and survey programs.
