Job summary

TC Energy Corp. is seeking a Geohazard Engineer to support pipeline integrity activities across the U.S. and Canada.

The role involves planning, evaluating, and mitigating geotechnical and hydrotechnical threats on gas pipeline systems, with collaboration from third-party contractors and internal teams. Based in a location such as Washington, PA; Sugar Grove, OH; or Charleston, WV, with a hybrid work model and opportunities for other locations.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in Civil, Mechanical, Petroleum Engineering, or related field.
• 1–5 years of geohazard assessment or pipeline integrity experience.
• Knowledge of 49 CFR Part 192/195 and related industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, and implement Geohazard Threat Management Program for pipeline threats.
• Perform field work across North America to evaluate threats.
• Coordinate with regulators and stakeholders to ensure compliance with standards.
• Support development of internal standards and specifications for regulations and best practices.
• Provide technical support to regulatory, urban development, and field teams.
