Qualifications

• Must hold or be willing to obtain CPhT certification within an agreed time frame.
• 3+ years as Pharmacy Technician; bachelor's degree acceptable.
• Strong communication, phone, and organizational skills.
• Experience in hospital/clinic setting preferred.
• Solid computer and data-management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support hospital pharmacy staff to integrate Shields workflows and operations.
• Assist Shields Pharmacy Liaisons in clinics to optimize specialty workflows.
• Educate pharmacy staff on how the specialty model improves patient care.
• Clarify prescription orders with pharmacist or clinician as needed.
• Identify medications requiring special handling or storage.
• Ensure supplies for selected medications; manage data via databases.
• Answer, triage and resolve inbound inquiries; maintain data integrity.
• Apply observations to improve productivity, quality and service.
• Participate in process-improvement initiatives and change,
• Protect organizational information confidentiality.
