Hybrid work is available with on-site and remote collaboration; the position is based out of Holly Springs, NC, with a contract arrangement.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a pharmacy setting is required.
• 2+ years of pharmacy operations experience, including claims processing, is preferred.
• Experience with data entry in healthcare or pharmacy environments.
• Strong customer service skills for inbound calls from patients and healthcare professionals.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills for multiple tasks.
• Competency in basic computer skills and pharmacy-related systems.
• Ability to multitask while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong written communication for progress notes.

Responsibilities

• Enter accurate prescription insurance information into patient profiles and process eligibility checks and adjudicate claims.
• Resolve claim issues and troubleshoot rejections to ensure successful processing.
• Request prior authorizations from providers and guide the process for patients.
• Handle inbound calls about order status and available financial assistance.
• Act as a resource on claim adjudication and suggest workflow improvements.
• Document progress notes clearly in patient records.
