Job summary

Qualifications

• Previous Long-Term Care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate medication orders for appropriateness of dosage and potential interactions.
• Ensure correct supply and labeling of dispensed medicines.
• Communicate with nursing staff and physicians regarding medication inquiries.
• Supervise the preparation of medications.
• Make recommendations for therapy changes as needed.
• Investigate and resolve medication-related inquiries.
• Maintain customer databases including medical history and other relevant information.
