Job summary

Walgreens seeks a Pharmacist for Minnesota-based roles at multiple retail locations with one day weekly at a regional facility. You will implement patient care programs, manage clinical pharmacy services, and drive financial performance through Medicare and payer programs. The role requires dispensing from a remote setting and engaging with medical communities.

You'll ensure HIPAA compliance, maintain licensure, and provide expert support to pharmacists and leadership while traveling as needed.

Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited educational institution.
• Current Pharmacist license as granted by the appropriate state licensing authority.
• Experience performing prescription dispensing activities with knowledge of state and federal laws.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
• Willing to work in multiple environments (Centralized, Retail, Specialty, and/or virtual).
• Willing to travel up to 10% of the time for business purposes.

Responsibilities

• Implements direct patient care programs including Medication Therapy Management and Immunization Services.
• Drives compliance and quality improvement in clinical pharmacy patient care and services.
• Drives regional pharmacy financial performance by aligning programs with financial goals.
• Supports patient experience through healthcare services like consultations and disease state management.
• Provides expertise and training to pharmacists and field leadership.
