Alera Group in New Bedford, MA is seeking a Personal Lines Account Manager to deliver exceptional service and manage a client book. The role supports retention, growth, and service objectives, functioning as a trusted advisor on coverage needs and policy transactions.

Starting onsite, with a later transition to a hybrid model after training. Salary range $55,000–$70,000 with comprehensive benefits and room for professional development within a national organization.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of personal lines account management.
• Active Property & Casualty License, or willing to obtain within 6 months.
• Knowledge of homeowners, automobile, umbrella, dwelling fire, flood and specialty coverage.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with comparative raters and carrier portal systems.
• CIC, CISR, CPRIA or similar designation or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for assigned Personal Lines clients.
• Respond to client inquiries regarding coverage, billing, claims, renewals and underwriting requirements.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships with proactive communication and reviews.
• Educate clients on policy provisions, exclusions, deductibles, and options.
• Process endorsements, changes, renewals, and new business submissions per workflow.
• Collaborate with producers, account executives, and staff to support growth and retention.
