Job summary

Isaacs & Isaacs seeks an experienced litigation paralegal in Indianapolis to support personal injury cases from intake to resolution. You will maintain client communications, gather medical records, file pleadings, manage deadlines, and assist with depositions and trials in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires 5+ years of PI paralegal experience, Indiana law knowledge, and proficiency in Filevine and MS Office. This hybrid position offers comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of personal injury litigation paralegal experience.
• Experience handling motor vehicle accident and personal injury cases in Indiana.
• Strong knowledge of state and federal court procedures, including e-filing.
• Familiarity with insurance coverage, claims processes, and litigation timelines.
• Ability to manage a high-volume caseload in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain personal injury litigation case files from intake through resolution.
• Maintain regular client communication (minimum every 30 days).
• Gather and organize medical records, bills, liens, and damage documentation.
• Draft and file pleadings, motions, subpoenas, and discovery requests/responses.
• Prepare demand packages, mediation packages, and case summaries.
• Coordinate and assist with depositions, hearings, mediations, and trial preparation.
• Maintain and track case deadlines, court dates, and attorney calendars.
• Investigate claims and document findings in Filevine.
• Verify and communicate with insurance carriers regarding coverage and claims.
• Track and manage medical treatment and provider communication.
• Maintain organized and up-to-date case files and documentation systems.
• Process and manage correspondence with clients, medical providers, and opposing counsel.
• Ensure all files are updated regularly and meet internal case management standards.
• Support attorneys with settlement tracking and negotiation documentation.
