Job summary

DriveTime is seeking an Analyst, Performance Reporting to analyze large datasets and provide actionable insights to senior leaders. You will leverage SQL, Python, R and Excel to perform quantitative analysis and build reporting tools that monitor core performance metrics.

You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams, recommend strategic changes, and automate reporting using Tableau or Power BI in a fast, autonomous environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field such as economics, finance, statistics, engineering, or hard science.
• 0-1 year of relevant experience.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills, collaborative teamwork, intellectual horsepower, curiosity, initiative, and attention to detail.
• Demonstrated skill and extensive experience developing quantitative analysis in Excel.
• Experience in the following coding languages such as SQL, R, Java, or Python.
• Ability to simplify complexity and communicate statistical and analytical concepts and findings to executive, operational, and technical audiences with appropriate levels of detail and emphasis.

Responsibilities

• Support a holistic view across all business partners making recommendations on strategic business changes.
• Collaborate with teams across the business to develop reporting and analytical tools, supporting the monitoring of key performance metrics
• Integrate data from across the organization and wider market to generate relevant, actionable insights and make recommendations to senior executives across DriveTime’s business segments.
• Construct in-depth quantitative analysis by processing, manipulating, and studying large datasets by leveraging strong SQL, Python, R, and Excel skills.
• Lead large analytically based initiatives to reveal step-change improvements in profitability of business.
• Demonstrate strong conceptual skills supported by rigorous quantitative analysis to recommend strategic initiatives to senior management. Leverage emerging technologies and critical thinking skills to continually innovate and automate existing methodologies, processes, and reporting.
• Ability to demonstrate a strong understanding of business operations, finances and market economics.
• Effectively communicating with concise insights and/or visualizations utilizing software such as Tableau or Power BI while partnering collaboratively with colleagues and senior leaders in DriveTime.
• Being self-driven and able to take initiative to further the success of the business.
