R&C Consulting Group, Inc. is seeking a Certified Peer Support Specialist to empower individuals with mental health or substance use challenges. You will provide peer support, help develop recovery plans, and connect clients with community resources in a hybrid North Carolina setting.

Qualifications

• Have lived experience with mental health and/or substance use challenges.
• Hold a current North Carolina Peer Support Specialist certification or applicable state-recognized credential.
• Possess a high school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate individual and group peer-support interventions that promote self-worth and personal growth.
• Support individuals in developing recovery plans and WRAPs when appropriate.
• Help clients strengthen coping strategies, communication, and self-management skills.
• Assist individuals with navigating service systems and connecting with community resources.
• Provide peer support during crisis and post-crisis periods according to protocols.
