Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a PCB Layout Designer Engineer/Principal PCB Layout Designer Engineer in Manhattan Beach, CA, with a hybrid work schedule and on-site support as needed. You will join the Western Region Electronics & Payload Engineering team to design PCBs for space and air programs.

The role requires a STEM degree with aerospace experience or a related master’s degree, and the ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in a STEM discipline with 2 years aerospace experience or Master’s in Mechanical/Electrical Eng with 0 years aerospace experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD TS/SCI clearance.
• Familiar with printed circuit board layouts and PCB design processes.

Responsibilities

• Work with all engineering disciplines to integrate constraints into the Mentor Xpedition PCB CAD database.
• Adhere to core PCB design processes and ensure team compliance.
• Develop expertise in high-reliability design standards and manufacturability.
• Lead PCB design reviews and help create PCB design schedules.
• Understand internal build specs, industry standards and PCB manufacturability.
