Datadog is hiring a Payroll Specialist to support the US payroll process for over 3,000 employees in a hybrid work setting. The role involves semi-monthly payroll processing for salaried exempt and nonexempt staff, ensuring timely and accurate payments, and collaborating with People and Finance teams.

Key duties include handling equity transactions in Workday, data validation, audits, and supports government inquiries.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience processing payroll in a multi-state environment.
• Familiarity with payroll systems (ADP and Workday preferred).
• Knowledge of payroll legislation (e.g., SOX, FLSA).
• Proficiency with Excel and Google Sheets (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, SUMIF).
• Strong communication skills to cross-functional teams.
• Organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Partner with payroll stakeholders to analyze data entry feeds and support semi-monthly payroll in Workday.
• Process payroll for US salaried exempt and nonexempt employees in multi-state environment.
• Process equity transactions (RSU, NSO, ISO) and related payroll inputs.
• Resolve payroll discrepancies by analyzing Workday reports.
• Support audits and collaborate with Finance to improve controls.
