Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Payroll Specialist to support an assigned pay group that may include up to 20,000 employees. The role helps process accurate, timely payroll, researches discrepancies, and maintains supporting records and controls. The position has no direct reports. Schedule is 7:30 a.m.

to 4:00 p.m.; on-site Wednesday and Thursday. Additional hours may be needed. Prior HR/payroll experience and strong Excel skills are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in HR, benefits, office tasks, or payroll.
• Ability to learn and work across multiple systems and meet payroll deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Enter, review, and maintain payroll data for an assigned pay group and meet weekly payroll deadlines.
• Review payroll batch validation, edit, audit, timekeeping, and unpaid employee reports and make corrections.
• Research payroll questions and document resolutions; escalate complex matters as needed.
• Prepare or support manual checks and direct deposits with documentation.
• Complete weekly payroll checkoff and SOX control documentation.
