Job summary

UC Santa Barbara is seeking a Payroll and Research Administration Analyst for the Institute for Collaborative Biotechnologies (ICBT). The role supports 200-300 personnel yearly, handling complex payroll, employment actions, and funding changes while ensuring accurate budget balances and timely payroll processing.

Responsibilities include timekeeping, policy updates, and collaboration with the Financial and Personnel Managers to resolve payroll issues and ensure compliance with campus procedures

Responsibilities

• Manage complex payroll and personnel actions for 200-300 personnel annually.
• Serve as department Timekeeper and ensure accurate payroll and leave reporting.
• Handle hiring, onboarding, funding changes, and off-boarding with UCPath and EPM inputs.
• Ensure compliance with union contracts, policies, and background checks.
