• Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day payroll processing with external provider for US and Canada.
• Ensure timely, accurate payroll submissions and special payrolls (bonus, termination).
• Verify payroll deductions, taxes, benefits, and retirement contributions.
• Reconcile payroll data with general ledger and finance.
• Respond to employee inquiries about payroll and direct deposit.
• Lead annual payroll cycles, including year-end tasks and 401(k) audits.
• Maintain SOC-1 documentation and coordinate audits as needed.
