Job summary

Aleut Federal is seeking a Payroll Manager to oversee end-to-end payroll operations for a multi-state, multi-entity organization, ensuring compliance with federal, state, local laws and SCA requirements. This hybrid role requires in-office attendance three days a week (Tue–Thu).

The position involves audits, system improvements, and cross-functional collaboration to uphold payroll integrity and accurate tax filings and benefit remittances.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field, plus 5 years of payroll experience.
• Experience with multi-state, multi-entity payroll and supervising a team.
• Familiarity with CBAs, SCA wage determinations, and Davis-Bacon is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end payroll processing for multi-state, multi-entity operations.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and union/SCA requirements.
• Administer and audit union payrolls and implement payroll policies and controls.
• Lead payroll audits and support system improvements.
• Prepare reports and manage benefits remittances and GL entries.
