Aleut Federal, LLC in Reston, Virginia is seeking a Payroll Manager to oversee end-to-end payroll for multi-state, multi-entity operations, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws and SCA requirements. This hybrid role requires in-office attendance three days a week, Tuesday to Thursday.

The role leads payroll processing, reconciliations, audits, and system improvements, partnering cross-functionally to uphold payroll integrity and regulatory compliance while handling benefits

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• Five years of payroll experience across multi-state and multi-company payroll processing.
• Two years of experience with union payroll, CBAs, Davis Bacon, and SCA wage determinations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee payroll for multi-state, multi-company operations.
• Administer and audit union payrolls per CBAs.
• Ensure SCA wage determinations and health/welfare components are applied.
• Reconcile payroll GL accounts and post month-end entries.
• Maintain payroll policies and internal controls.
• Lead payroll audits related to DCAA, SCA, and union regulations.
• Prepare reports and payments for benefit costs and payroll taxes.
