Job summary

Aleut Federal is seeking a payroll professional to handle all aspects of payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in compliance with government regulations. The role supports benefits costs, tax deductions, and payroll reporting.

The position offers a hybrid schedule with multiple office locations and a salary range of $75,000–$90,000, plus health insurance, PTO, disability, life insurance, and 401(k) with matching.

Qualifications

• Two years of payroll processing experience, including payroll compliance.
• High School Diploma; associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience with Costpoint and UKG.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll, including timecards, payroll data accuracy, and deductions.
• Prepare reports and payments for employer- and employee-paid benefits, such as health insurance and retirement plans.
• Reconcile payroll to the general ledger and monthly bank statements.
• Support internal and external audits and government regulations.
• Issue or reissue checks or direct deposits as needed due to payroll errors or final discharge.
