University Health is seeking a Payment Posting Clerk for a hybrid role in Kansas City, MO. The position supports the Corporate Professional Billing department with daily cash posting, patient and third-party payments, and deposits.

The role requires accuracy in posting, balancing batches, and customer service skills. Work hours are 8:30 AM–4:30 PM, 40 hours per week, with some duties at the cashier window as needed.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least 1 year of accounts receivable or cashiering experience.
• Proficiency with 10-key calculator.
• Solid accounting/math skills.
• Strong customer service and communication abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Post patient and third party payments to accounts receivable or general ledger in the computer system.
• Balance multiple cash posting batches with deposits.
• May work at the hospital cashier window handling cash receipts and deposits.
• Prepare cash deposits and balance with daily cash totals.
