University Health is seeking a Payment Posting Clerk for a hybrid role based in Northpoint, Kansas City, MO. The position supports Corporate Professional Billing with daytime hours and 40 hrs/week.

The role requires accuracy in processing patient and third-party payments and aligning postings with deposits. Responsibilities include posting payments electronically or manually, balancing batches to deposits, and potential cashier window duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of experience in accounts receivables or cashiering.
• Familiar with 10-key calculator and basic accounting.
• Strong accounting/math skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication.
• Proficient with computer systems and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to learn new computer processes related to cash posting.
• Ability to reconcile to bank deposits.

Responsabilités

• Perform cash posting of patient and third party payments to AR or GL.
• Balance multiple cash posting batches to deposits.
• May work at the hospital cashier window and provide receipts.
• Receive and balance point of service collections from multiple areas.
