Job summary

CDA is seeking a Payment Analyst I in California to review and process child care provider attendance records and invoices in accordance with state guidelines and our policies. This full-time, non-exempt role offers a hybrid schedule after training and requires strong attention to detail and data accuracy.

You will verify documentation, calculate provider payments, respond to inquiries, and support the Payments team while maintaining confidentiality and delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Excellent attention to detail, data entry, and math reasoning skills.
• Ability to analyze and calculate data such as claims and invoices.
• Strong problem-solving, organization, and time-management abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to learn policies quickly.

Responsibilities

• Review and evaluate child care provider invoices per state regulations and CDA policies.
• Verify attendance, signatures, and supporting documentation for accuracy.
• Process payments and respond to provider questions and inquiries in a timely manner.
• Analyze attendance records and adjust payments per policy, contacting staff as needed.
• Print reports and double-check batch payments for accuracy.
• Participate in on-site and off-site trainings and meetings.
