Accellacare, part of ICON, seeks a Patient Recruitment Associate I for a 6-month contract. The role supports enrollment by screening patients, managing data in trial systems, and coordinating site scheduling across NC locations with a 4-day onsite/1-day remote mix.

Candidates should have life science or healthcare education, strong communication, and customer service skills, with the ability to multitask under tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in life science, healthcare, or medical field.
• Clinical research site experience strongly preferred with interest in clinical research, patient recruitment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with comfort handling phone calls.

Responsibilities

• Screen potential study participants according to protocol criteria.
• Review, enter, and edit patient information into clinical trial management software.
• Book patients into site schedulers and keep entries accurate and up to date.
• Respond to leads within 24 hours and identify opportunities for enrollment.
• Provide an exceptional patient experience with positive rapport and follow-up.
