The ideal candidate has 2–6 years of patent prosecution experience, an electrical or mechanical engineering background, and a JD from an ABA-accredited law school, plus USPTO registration.

Qualifications

• 2–6 years of patent prosecution experience.
• Strong technical background in electrical or mechanical engineering or related fields.
• Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and writing skills.
• Active USPTO registration and ability to quickly obtain Minnesota or Iowa licensure.

Responsibilities

• Manage patent prosecution portfolios and client counseling.
• Provide freedom-to-operate analyses and IP due diligence.
• Support litigation and IP-related activities as needed.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams in a hybrid environment.
