Job summary

foundry10 is seeking a part-time, temporary Research & Program Assistant to support the Career-Connected Learning and Life Skills team (CCLLS). The role blends Research Assistant duties with a Saturday-afternoon program, offering in-person attendance in Washington State and remote work as needed.

The position involves literature reviews, IRB drafting, participant recruitment planning, data collection, and data management/analysis tasks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in education, nonprofit management, public administration, or a related field.
• 2+ years experience facilitating programming with high school-aged students from diverse backgrounds, including those who may be disengaged from school
• Experience coordinating administrative or program logistics, including scheduling, communication tracking, and event or meeting support
• Overall familiarity with the research process
• Competence with Google Suite
• Ability to organize and prioritize competing tasks and projects
• Communication skills to collaborate with team members in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and in a hybrid team environment
• Understanding of various emerging educational technologies used in K-12 settings

Responsibilities

• Provide support through conception and implementation of research projects, including literature review and IRB writing
• Assist with data collection planning and recruitment of student participants
• Coordinate with school personnel to schedule data collection times and gather consents
• Assist with running and monitoring study activities
• Support data management, data cleaning and descriptive analysis
• Share results through written reports and other mediums
• Participate in project team meetings
• Use project management software to track tasks and schedules
• Co-facilitate workshops to help participants build research skills
• Co-facilitate community building activities and team check-ins
• Back-up facilitator when primary facilitator is unavailable
