Elior North America is hiring a Part-Time Registered Dietitian for the healthcare team at Natchitoches Regional Medical Center in Natchitoches, LA. The role supports nutritional assessment, interventions, and quality of life improvements for residents, with 16-20 hours weekly; 1–1.5 onsite days and 1 remote day at NRMC and Courtyard of Natchitoches Nursing Home.

Requires nutrition degrees (Bachelor’s and Master’s), CDR exam or eligibility, and ongoing CE hours.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition (Prior to 2024) or related field.
• Master's degree in Nutrition or related field.
• Passed a national examination administered by the CDR or eligible per ADA requirements.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years, per CDR guidelines.
• Licensed or certified, per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulation standards for comprehensive assessments, care planning, and residents’ rights.
• Ability to teach others about nutrition and dietetics.

Aufgaben

• Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educate patients/residents, staff, or consultants.
• Follow the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics’ standards of practice and facility regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with other departments to set up procedures and policies related to dining and nutrition.
• Participate in development, review, and revision of continuous quality improvement programs.
