Job summary

RD Nutrition Consultants LLC is seeking a Clinical Registered Dietitian for a part-time hybrid position in Waynesboro, PA. The role blends on-site and remote work with 8–12 hours per week per facility and potential 16–24 hours for both locations.

Compensation is $32.00–$38.00 per hour, with travel time paid at the same rate and mileage reimbursement. Responsibilities include assessments, care-plan development, education, and CMS/DOH compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or related field.
• Registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
• Current Pennsylvania state licensure/certification as required.
• Minimum of 1 year clinical experience preferred.
• Skilled nursing or long-term care experience preferred.
• Strong communication with residents, families, and healthcare teams.
• Familiarity with state survey processes and nutrition care regulations.
• Competency in electronic charting systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments on admissions and quarterly reviews.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized nutrition care plans.
• Provide nutrition education and counseling as needed.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists and interdisciplinary team.
• Ensure CMS/DOH compliance and track nutrition-related regulations.
• Monitor resident weight changes and hydration status.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Review menus semi-annually to meet guidelines.
