RD Nutrition Consultants LLC is seeking a Clinical Registered Dietitian for a part-time hybrid role in Ohio. The position blends on-site and remote work and focuses on comprehensive nutrition assessments and care planning for skilled nursing residents.

You will collaborate with physicians, nurses, and therapists, ensure CMS/DOH compliance, monitor resident weights, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.

Formación

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or related field from an accredited program.
• Registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
• Current Ohio state licensure/certification as required.
• Minimum of 1 year clinical experience preferred.
• Skilled nursing or long-term care experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with residents, families, and healthcare teams.
• Ability to apply critical thinking to assess objectives and implement nutrition plans.
• Proficiency in general nutrition interventions and electronic charting systems.
• Familiarity with state survey processes and nutrition care regulations.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments on new admissions and quarterly thereafter.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized nutrition care plans.
• Provide nutrition education and counseling as needed.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and the interdisciplinary team.
• Ensure CMS/DOH regulatory compliance.
• Monitor resident weight changes weekly and monthly.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve care outcomes.
• Conduct monthly kitchen sanitation audits and document findings.
