Job summary

RD Nutrition Consultants LLC is seeking a Clinical Registered Dietitian for a part-time hybrid role in Elyria, OH. The position blends on-site and remote work, with 16-20 hours weekly and one on-site visit each week to support residents and families.

The ideal candidate holds a Dietetics degree, is registered with the CDR, and has at least 1 year of clinical experience, preferably in skilled nursing or long-term care, with strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Dietetics or related field.
• Registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
• 1 year clinical experience preferred; SNF/long-term care ideal.
• Excellent communication and critical thinking.
• Familiar with CMS/DOH regulations and charting systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments on new admissions and quarterly reviews.
• Develop and monitor individualized nutrition care plans.
• Provide nutrition education and counseling.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and care team.
• Ensure compliance with CMS and DOH regulations.
• Monitor weight and hydration status regularly.
• Conduct monthly kitchen sanitation audits.
• Review menus semi-annually for guidelines.
