Job summary

Auto Club Services is seeking a Paralegal II to support attorneys and contract administrators. The role involves legal research, document drafting, and managing discovery processes in a hybrid setup in Troy, MI, with on-site expectations about once every six weeks and regular remote work.

The candidate will assist with subpoenas, pleadings, and regulatory filings, coordinate with outside counsel, and maintain case files and reports.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or paralegal certification with 3+ years paralegal experience.
• ABA-approved paralegal program with 3+ years paralegal experience.
• Five years of paralegal experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities

• Perform legal research and draft/prepare legal documents and memoranda.
• Support discovery, e-discovery, document management, and subpoenas coordination.
• Assist with demand letters, legal correspondence, and discovery demands.
• Manage litigation support vendors and outside counsel; track deadlines.
• Maintain comprehensive case files and monthly/quarterly status reports.
• Assist in compliance investigations and regulatory filings.
• Collaborate with OGC support staff to design workflows in a shared services model.
• Provide backup coverage for OGC support staff as needed.
• Create and improve processes to increase efficiency.
• Input and review data in spreadsheets/databases; generate reports.
• Interact with business line customers to address support needs.
