Job summary

Farnsworth Group is seeking an experienced paralegal to manage the contract lifecycle for client, consultant, and vendor agreements, while maintaining our contract-management system and supporting claims activities. You will coordinate governance filings and corporate records, preparing compliant documents with strong attention to confidentiality.

This role requires a Bachelor’s degree with a paralegal certificate and 10–15 years of legal-support experience, including five years in architecture,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and paralegal certificate required.
• 10–15 years of paralegal or closely related legal-support experience.
• Minimum 5 years supporting architecture, engineering, construction, or other professional-services organizations.
• Experience managing contracts and maintaining contract records throughout the lifecycle.
• Experience using contract-management or matter-management systems.
• Experience supporting claims, including professional-liability or construction claims.
• Experience with insurance policies, certificates of insurance, endorsements, and contractual requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage the contract lifecycle including intake, routing, tracking, execution, filing, and maintenance of client, consultant, vendor, and other agreements.
• Maintain the contract-management system and ensure agreements and amendments are accurate and accessible.
• Assist with reviewing, redlining, and revising contracts and related documents.
• Support claims and claims-management activities for professional services, construction, and related projects.
• Track and maintain insurance policies, certificates, endorsements, and requirements.
• Assist with corporate records, governance materials, registrations, and filings.
• Coordinate legal department administrative activities including calendar, deadlines, records, and invoices.
• Prepare, proofread, format, and organize contracts, correspondence, reports, and presentations.
• Maintain confidentiality of privileged and sensitive information.
