GPW & Associates, Inc. in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an Actuarial Analyst to support property and casualty reserving analyses and data review. You will work with credentialed actuaries, prepare exhibits, and help meet client deadlines in a hybrid work model.

The role requires completion of at least one CAS exam, a relevant bachelor's degree, and up to two years of actuarial experience or internship. VBA, Python, R, SQL, or Power BI experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• CAS exam completed or in progress
• Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics or related field
• Less than two years actuarial experience or relevant internship experience
• Experience with VBA, Python, R, SQL, or Power BI preferred
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills

Responsabilités

• Support P&C reserving analyses across multiple lines of business
• Research and resolve data discrepancies
• Prepare reserve analyses and exhibits for credentialed actuaries
• Communicate findings, questions, and project status effectively
• Collaborate with team members to meet client and project deadlines
• Pursue Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS) credentials
