Job summary

Boutique Recruiting is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to build relationships with small business owners across Southern California, driving energy-upgrade programs and rebates. The role blends field prospecting, consultative selling, territory development, and proactive follow-up, with autonomy over daily management.

The ideal candidate is self-motivated, excels in cold outreach, and can work independently with travel across the territory.

Qualifications

• Door-to-door or field sales experience required or preferred.
• Willingness to travel across Southern California.
• Self-directed with ability to manage territory and pipeline.

Responsibilities

• Prospect small commercial businesses through field outreach and relationship building.
• Educate owners on energy-efficiency programs, rebates, and upgrades.
• Identify opportunities, gather info and coordinate with teams on viability.
• Develop and deliver proposals and guide opportunities through sales process.
• Build relationships in the territory via local chambers and community groups.
• Maintain follow-up and track activity in CRM and prospecting tools.
• Spend about four days per week in the field with time for admin work.
