Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in public health, social sciences, health administration, communications, or related field with 3 years of relevant experience.
• Demonstrated experience in community-engaged research or community outreach with emphasis in public health or human subjects research.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and project management abilities.
• Experience working with diverse populations and community-based organizations.

Responsibilities

• Establish, cultivate, and maintain partnerships with community organizations and healthcare providers.
• Represent research programs at community meetings, conferences, and outreach events.
• Develop and facilitate community advisory boards and stakeholder working groups.
• Collaborate on design and implementation of outreach strategies and engagement plans.
• Coordinate community-based workshops, recruitment, and dissemination efforts.
• Track engagement activities and report outcomes to leadership and funders.
• Translate research findings into accessible community materials and communications.
• Supervise outreach staff or community health workers as appropriate.
• Participate in grant proposals and program evaluation activities.
