The MaineHealth Registered Nurse - Ambulatory Care role provides high-quality care to patients and families calling or presenting for care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, and performs a wide variety of patient care services to assist physicians/advanced practice practitioners in delivering excellent care to patients of the practice.

MH RN II: This level is competent in their clinical role and has demonstrated the ability to care for most patients assigned.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred.
• Current applicable state license as a Registered Nurse; BLS cert within 30 days.
• One year of RN experience in oncology, medical-surgical, acute care or high-acuity settings.

Responsabilidades

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in ambulatory settings.
• Support physicians and advanced practice providers in delivering care.
• Triage patients by telephone and in person in a fast-paced outpatient environment.
• Collaborate with oncologists, NPs, RNs, MAs and social workers for coordinated care.
