Job summary

Nebraska Medicine is seeking an Oncology Case Manager for outpatient coverage in Omaha, NE. The role involves direct collaboration with physicians and APPs to educate patients, schedule appointments, and triage messages; coverage across multiple cancer clinics including Fred & Pamela Buffett Cancer Center, Village Pointe, and Bellevue.

Qualified candidates have a BSN, at least three years of nursing experience, and strong communication and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years nursing experience.
• BSN required; MSN preferred.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize and make independent clinical judgments.
• Licensed RN in Nebraska or compact state.
• BLS certification required (AHA endorsed).
• PALS department dependent.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient care delivery for a designated group of patients to achieve high quality outcomes across the continuum of care.
• Coordinate education, scheduling, and triage for patient messages and calls.
• Collaborate with physicians, APPs, and interdisciplinary team to ensure care continuity.
