Job summary

Ledgent Technology is seeking an Operational Technology Systems Administrator to support and enhance grid operations. This role focuses on OT environments that enable critical utility processes, working with engineering, operations, cybersecurity, and technology teams to ensure reliable, secure systems.

The position is hybrid, with three days onsite per week in the Northwest Metro, MN area and two days remote.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in IT, CS, or engineering tech with 5+ years OT experience, or Bachelor's degree with 3+ years.
• Experience supporting OT/industrial systems in production environments.
• Ability to work with business users, operations teams, engineers, and stakeholders.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support critical OT platforms used to monitor and manage utility operations.
• Monitor performance, availability, and health to ensure reliable operations.
• Troubleshoot application, integration, and infrastructure issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Coordinate software updates, patches, upgrades, and maintenance.
• Lead or contribute to modernization initiatives for grid management and DERMS.
• Participate in on-call rotation and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
