Job summary

Citi in Tampa, FL is seeking an experienced Oracle Database PL/SQL Developer/Assistant Vice President to design and deliver high-performance Oracle database solutions that power critical operations for a global financial institution.

You will develop PL/SQL packages, ETL workflows, and deployment packages, and optimize performance with partitioning and tuning. The role requires collaboration across engineering, data and analytics teams and a hybrid work arrangement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on Oracle development in production environments.
• Strong SQL/PLSQL skills with advanced query design and optimization.
• Experience with cloud-hosted Oracle databases (OCI/AWS/Azure).

Responsibilities

• Design and build Oracle DB solutions with PL/SQL packages, procedures, and views for high performance.
• Develop and maintain ETL workflows and batch processing pipelines for reliable data movement.
• Create migration scripts and deployment packages to support repeatable releases.
• Tune performance using execution plans, indexing, and partitioning.
• Build DB unit tests and data validation across environments.
• Integrate DB solutions into CI/CD pipelines with automated testing and deployment.
