Job summary

Jobtailor seeks an experienced Oracle Database Developer to design and deliver high-performance Oracle solutions in production environments. You’ll optimize queries, implement ETL pipelines, and integrate deployments into CI/CD workflows, collaborating with analytics and engineering teams.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of hands-on Oracle development, strong SQL/PLSQL skills, and cloud experience with OCI/AWS/Azure. Relocation support may be available for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on Oracle development.
• Experience designing and delivering complex database solutions in production environments.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL.
• Complex query design, table design, data analysis, and table partitioning.
• Database performance tuning, including execution plan analysis, indexing strategies, partitioning techniques, and Oracle monitoring and diagnostic tools.
• Exposure to OCI, AWS, or Azure and cloud-hosted database architectures, deployment models, and operational best practices.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and sprint-based workflows.
• Ability to collaborate across engineering, business, and analytical teams.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.; Citi will not sponsor U.S. work authorization
• Must be located within commuting distance or willing to relocate to the area.

Responsibilities

• Design and build high-performance Oracle database solutions.
