Qualifications

• Current certification as a Sterile Processing Technician (CSPDT, CRCST, or equivalent preferred).
• Experience in Sterile Processing, Operating Room, or Ambulatory Surgery Center environments preferred.
• Knowledge of surgical instruments, sterile technique, and OR procedures.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced surgical environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
• Ability to work collaboratively with surgical staff and maintain professional communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform sterile processing duties including decontamination, inspection, assembly, sterilization, and storage of surgical instruments and supplies.
• Follow standards for cleaning, disinfecting, sterilizing, and maintaining surgical instrumentation.
• Prepare surgical trays and instrument sets according to scheduled procedures.
• Maintain documentation of sterilization processes, biological monitoring, and quality checks.
• Ensure sterile supplies and instruments are properly stored and available for surgical cases.
• Assist with inventory management and restocking of supplies.
