Job summary

Surgery Partners, Inc. is seeking a Surgical Tech/SPD for a fast-paced ambulatory surgery center. Minimum 1 year of experience and CPR certification are required; SPD experience or willingness to learn is preferred.

Responsibilities include preparing equipment, assisting with sterile setup, and supporting the surgical team under physician and/or RN supervision. Candidates should be committed to sterile technique and patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited surgical technologist program.
• CST preferred.
• Must be certified to perform CPR with 0-2 years of clinical experience in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and maintains medical equipment for surgical procedures.
• Assist in setting up operating room with instruments, drapes and solutions.
• Tends to patient during pre-operation and supports the surgical team during procedures.
