GFT in Long Beach, CA seeks a Project Coordinator to join our Shared Services team. This hybrid role requires regular in-person presence in Long Beach and collaboration with Project Managers, Accounting, and Operations.

You will support proposals, contracts, budgets, invoicing, and monthly project reviews, helping to keep client work on schedule and within budget while communicating across internal teams and with external vendors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 4+ years in project accounting, controls, proposals, or contracts.
• 2+ years in project controls, proposals, or contracts.
• Knowledge of financial accounting, AR/AP, and related processes.
• Industry terminology: contracts, awards, procurement, overhead, multipliers.
• Desire to learn concepts like effort, revenue, and variance analysis.
• Ability to manage assignments efficiently.
• Ability to prioritize, multitask, and adapt to changing priorities.

Responsabilités

• Prepares fee proposal templates, draft contracts and subcontracts for review.
• Ensures projects adhere to contract language and requirements; tracks amendments and coordinates reviews.
• Develops WBS and project authorization forms including budgets and invoicing requirements.
• Monitors project financials (variance, revenue, budgets, WIP) and follows up on issues.
• Partners with Collections to aid in project cash flow from clients.
• Liaises between internal staff, suppliers and clients; communicates for Project Managers.
• Conducts pre-bill reviews with Project Managers as needed.
• Participates in monthly project reviews; collaborates with Business Operations.
• Assists in analysis of project budget performance.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
