Mount Evans Home Health Care & Hospice is seeking an Operations Coordinator for Camp Comfort in Evergreen, CO. This role works with the Camp Director and Volunteer Coordinator to oversee day camp operations, manage vendor relationships, logistics, supplies, scheduling, and other needs, ensuring activities run smoothly.

The right candidate will help plan activities, staff volunteer roles, monitor expenses, coordinate contracts, and support children and families affected by loss.

Qualifications

• Two years of event coordination and planning experience.
• Experience working with children required.
• Bereavement and grief work knowledge preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with the Camp Director on planning, scheduling, and logistics.
• Co-manages inventory and purchases within the approved budget.
• Coordinates with vendors and assists with contracts for day camp services.
• Prepares and leads camp activities, ensuring they run smoothly and align with program goals.
• Develops behavior support plans and communicates with families and the Camp Director when appropriate.
• Evaluates programs regularly and implements changes based on feedback.
