SOLV Energy in the United States is seeking an experienced commissioning professional to support the pre-commissioning and commissioning of solar, storage, and high-voltage substation projects. The role emphasizes ensuring reliable device communication during hot commissioning and coordinating with field teams on site.

This hybrid position requires onsite presence at job sites with partial remote work; detailed location expectations will be discussed in the interview process.

Formación

• 3–5 years of experience in commissioning utility-scale solar projects.
• Strong knowledge of solar PV systems, inverters, transformers, and electrical infrastructure.
• Solid networking and communications systems knowledge.
• Proactive problem-solving with a focus on issue resolution.
• Ability to read Electrical and Mechanical Drawings/ Schematics.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; safety-focused.

Responsabilidades

• Interpret and implement site commissioning plans and schedules.
• Coordinate with engineering, construction, and QA teams to align on commissioning activities.
• Conduct pre-commissioning and commissioning tests (performance, functional, reliability) of communications systems.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety protocols, and environmental regulations.
• Troubleshoot issues during commissioning to optimize SCADA and site communications.
• Prepare detailed commissioning reports with test results and corrective actions.
• Lead safety initiatives and ensure adherence to SOPs.
